On this page we present different possibilities on how you can get involved in our ministry among the Lakota people. Despite having obvious financial needs, first and most of all we would like to encourage EVERYBODY to pray for us. An updated list of prayer requests is at the bottom of this page. Please consider your further involvement in the ministry prayerfully, too. May God bless you and answer all your prayers according to His promise!

This is a chance for church / youth groups or individuals. We host about eight to ten summer mission teams every year. They usually stay for a week and lead a VBS, youth sports camp, ladies' tea, etc. Also welcome are work project teams who are willing to do practical building or construction work around the Rec or the community. Please consider that you might need to set up a summer mission week a year in advance.

We are a faith-based ministry that receives no federal support or grants. We appreciate your financial help for staff salaries, operational expenses, gas money for field trips with the kids, feeding expenses, etc.
All donations are tax-deductible. Please make your checks payable to the Oglala Re*Creation Center. Thank you.

7-PASSENGER VEHICLE  We are down to one vehicle in good working condition, which is our 15 passenger van. We need something smaller in order to go to town and give people rides to church etc.

WALL MATS at least 70 feet to cushion the blow of our kids against the gym walls (they play rough!  :-)
