Easter Celebration    April 8

Worship Burn
24 hrs / March 30-31

From Friday 6 pm to late Saturday night , the Ken Verheecke Band and other gifted musicians led us on into an atmosphere of worship and praise. It was so awesome to enjoy the presence of God! Worshiping with the sanctuary doors wide open, we believe our praises made a difference in the Oglala community too.

Soccer Match   Oglala vs. Denver

Once again, the team from Denver Seminary challenged us in a heated soccer match. During the 2 hrs battle Oglala first took the lead by a hard fought-for goal by Wes; Denver tied it up not much later. Then they earned a corner and through a foul by Oglala got their second goal. The 1:2 didn`t last long though; Oglala kept pressing but couldn`t get by the Denver goalie. Finally Leon scored the second goal for Oglala. About sunset time Jeremy delivered the perfect pass and Leon sealed the 3:2 win with the third Oglala goal!

Kids` Church Scouting Trip    March 24

We used this beautiful spring Saturday to scout out a trail for the bike ride Terry plans to take some kids on this summer. As the pictures show, the Black Hills are always up for some fun adventure! :-)

Rec Kid/Teen of the Week - Award

In order to honor outstanding good behavior during open gym and Bible Studies, we have started to pick one child or teen a week and reward them with a personalized certificate and some free concessions money. So far, it's been a hit with our kids! :-)

Summer Teams 2012    March

Well we gave up on winter 2012 - spring is definitely in the air by now! And with the first green on the prairee came our first "summer" mission team to help us pitch in with work projects around the Rec and open gym. What a great week!

Kids' Church Field Trip    February 25, 2012

Always a special treat, all our Kids' Church children who were part of the Christmas musical went to Rapid City to eat pizza and have fun at their favorite restaurant (which one, we can't say - but you might be able to guess from those pictures! :-)
